And then there was one week left. Crazy...
It has been a fun week here in Westcliffe Colorado, I am in
a Trio for the last little bit of time and things seem to be going really great
here! I am with Elder McCleve still and our new Comp is Elder Ulibarri. He is
from Utah. Both are great missionaries!
We drove up Tuesday to pick Elder U up and didn't get back
till late. This week we have been going around and introducing him to everyone.
I am pretty sure that this is the only time ever that Westcliffe has had 3
missionaries. It has been really great! We have been helping out a ton in the
community this week we were moving wood chips for a non-profit Women's center
and just doing landscaping type stuff :) It has been a really good week!
It has been a really awesome 2 years as well, I have learned
so much and I have been able to see so many lives changed by the Gospel of
Jesus Christ, I know that Jesus is the Savior of the World. He lives, I know
that our Father in Heaven and the Savior appeared to the young Joseph Smith in
answer to the young boy’s prayer. I know these things because I have asked of
God and the Spirit of the Lord has confirmed these truths to me. We can return
to live with our Father again and have peace.
I am so excited for the Temple to be dedicated in Tucson it
is truly the House of the Lord. I hope and Pray that you all will read the Book
of Mormon, it is another Testament of Jesus Christ. You too can know that it is
true.
