April 18th, 2016

This week I have learned a lot about myself. It has been really good though!
We had great weather up until Saturday and then it snowed for two days straight and it was not as fun anymore. We did get a chance to help one of our members plow and shovel off sidewalks. It was pretty fun to work in a snow plow. I would highly recommend it!
We had interviews with President Rehm as well! It is always so awesome to hear from him and talk with him.
We started doing service at a therapeutic horse ranch. It was like teaching swim lessons again only there was no crying at all! I have come to learn that Horses are super awesome as well. Like the sickest animal ever other than a turtle/tortoise.
One of the members of our Family ward opened a candy store last thanksgiving. He is living my childhood dream and we are going to be helping him out installing lights in his store. He has a pretty impressive selection of Root Beers as well so it will be a very great day!
We had dinner with His and our bishop’s families last night and it was so much fun there were so many kids everywhere and it was just like being home again with everything that was going on!
We taught them the restoration for our after meal lesson and it was awesome to see the spirit touch the little kids and just calm them down so fast! I love how the Lord Talks to all of us in a way we will hear and listen to him!
It has been a wonderful week as far as my study’s go. I have been reading in the Book of Mormon and Old Testament and I have been trying to tie the two stories together. In both there are righteous and very wicked rulers over the people and in both Heavenly Father works to try and teach correct doctrine and then after he has given the people a chance he humbles them in many different ways. But I have come to see that this pattern is no different in my own life. He sends others to teach me something and if I don't listen then he gives me a lesson in a less pleasant way. He does that to us all because he cares about us He wants the very best for us and we will have the best chance that we can to get that all we have to to is listen to it.
Thank you for all that you do to help others!
 I love you all!

It has been a great week! We helped with a fundraiser breakfast to build a house in Guatemala, and at that breakfast I was able to introduce an entire ward to the fantastic game of spike ball! And it was a great breakfast.
I loved fast and testimony meeting this week. In the French Creek ward there were some amazing testimonies from youth and parents about the atonement and the plan of salvation.
I really loved the Crowfoot YSA testimony meeting many of the people I have been working with the past few weeks spoke. One who was in special ops spoke on how much we are loved by God and that we are worth fighting for as children of God. It was amazing to see the how much he has grown. And his dedication to the Gospel.
We have been trying to get to know the wards that we are working in and it has been great so many people have been opening up to us and we are working with a couple new families. I am really excited to be working up here in Parker things are going great!
I think one thing this week that is very much worth mentioning is that we found this awesome food truck that is called Big Jim's it is southern style BBQ the man who owns it has been doing it for about 35 years and he just had this huge smoker that was filled with all sorts of meat. It was one of the best lunches I have had in a long time.
Last P-Day we went disc golfing with some other Elders and I have learned that I am not very good at Disc golf. It is not as easy as I had thought. It was really fun though it was a beautiful day and the place we went to was really pretty.
Thank you Brother Andrews for your Card!
I hope you all have a great week!
Love you all

It has been a pretty good week! I am no longer in a trio, and I am back down to just two wards so that is nice.
I loved Conference I am really looking forward to reviewing all of the talks the next few weeks and learning more from the messages that were given.
Think carefully back to what you remember and as your review what you heard and read think about this. There is not a topic given to the speakers when they are asked to speak, so if a topic is repeated it is important to learn something about that, or to start doing something if they ask you to do it several times.
Two of the topics I heard a lot are 1st the important of understanding Priesthood keys, where they come from and what they do/mean for us as a people.
2nd The importance of Christ like service, and the need to assist in humanitarian service such as the Refugee's that need our help. We are all refugees of some sort, if we do not help now how can we ask for help later when we need it most. Let us all try and serve more and better utilize the keys of heaven that have been granted to us by our Loving Father in Heaven.
Alright so we had a super fun activity this week with the Crowfoot YSA ward. DARTWARZ!! We went to Denver and had an indoor field where we just had a huge nerf war. It was really fun and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I went to a Hockey game with some members of the Family ward and it was so much fun to watch, I still don't really know what the rules of Hockey are, or even if there are rules. But it was really awesome to watch!
Love you guys! I hope that you are all doing well and praying often.

March 28th, 2016

I have come to the realization that snow is the worst thing to live in. We had a blizzard this week and were stuck inside all day and then once it stopped we tried to help people shovel snow but alas our shovels were not up to the challenge and became very bent out of shape and no longer were very helpful.
I am sad to say the Elder Gill had to go home this week, His back needed to be taken care of and so he was medically released. I really enjoyed working with him but I am now in a trio with Elder's Johnson and Soller. They are both hard working and good missionary. We now cover three wards! Two of which I am the one who knows so things got pretty busy very fast! But I am grateful for the challenge that it allows.
Something that is important to remember always is that every challenge that God gives us he helps us with as Nephi said; "I know the Lord giveth no commandment to the children of men, except he shall prepare a way for them to accomplish the things which he commands."
We had a great Easter Sunday and I hope all of you did as well!
It was a great Sunday We went to all three sacrament services for the wards and there was very amazing musical numbers in all three!
I love the music around this time of year it reminds us of the need to be hopeful and the importance of the savior in our life.
In the YSA's Gospel doctrine class the sister teaching taught about how important the Holy Ghost is to us. And how great it is that we have that gift. In John16 the savior tells the Apostles and Us that things are going to get really hard, and really tough, However, He also tells us that we will not ever be alone. Jesus Christ has sent us the Spirit of God the Holy Ghost. And because of that we can have a person relationship with our savior and we will know him not just Know of him.
After Easter dinner we went over to Papa Dave’s and Mama Kitty's house and played a game of pool. I had forgotten how bad I am at Pool but it was still really fun to do!
I love you guys! I hope that you all have a wonderful week and always remember to think of the savior. He wants us to know him every day of the year not just on Easter and Christmas.
With loving prayers always yours,
